A New Beginning

Introduction

 Welcome to my blog and to a new beginning. I want to start by introducing myself and give you my story. My name is Schylar Harris. I am a 20-year-old student at Louisiana State University (LSU), studying mass communications with a focus in public relations. 

My dream job is to do public relations for nonprofits and preferably somehow travel along with it. As a completely independent student, who supports themself, life can get hard. Since COVID-19 has freed up all my time, now is the perfect time to try and spread my wisdom. 

I want people to enjoy my blog while they read it, but I also want it to be helpful for people that have similar situations or even just help someone not feel alone. I have been living by myself since I was 17-years-old, and it has not been an easy task. This is for everyone who feels alone or is struggling in life.

I have tried to start a blog multiple times, but I always ended up not posting or taking it down because I was embarrassed. They say "third times the charm," right? I guess if you are reading this you're also wondering what some college kid could write about, and I am here to tell you that I am gonna write about everything.

I will share stories about my life and the wisdom that I have learned but also hope to showcase my growth even now. I will mainly be sharing tips that I have learned and what has helped me, but they may not help everyone. I am here to share my life and hope for a better life, so let us toast to new beginnings.
